Colonoscopy

• 1. Colonoscope is a flexible tube which is passed via anal canal to visualize the entire large bowel and a portion of the small bowel
• 2. It requires bowel preparation. You will drink a medicine which will produce loose motion. After passing 8-10 stools you will undergo colonoscopy
• 3. It is generally done under sedation, monitored by anaesthetist.
